Dry & Semi-Dry DeSox Systems
TAKRAF’s dry and semi-dry de-sox systems employ Simatek’s dry flue gas cleaning process and are employed in a wide range of biomass plants, waste incinerators and boiler applications.
The required cleaning often goes beyond the collecting of fly ash to fulfil dust emission requirements, but also to absorb acid components such as HCI, SO2, HF, etc. by means of dry injection of lime [Ca(OH)2] or sodium bicarbonate [NaHCO2] and to further to absorb dioxins (PCDDF) and heavy metals by activated carbon.
In all plants installed to date, the emission of harmful substances in the flue gas are well below European emission standards.
Our dry and semi-dry de-sox systems are sold under license from Simatek in Denmark. The license is specific to the African region with permission to use globally only if being installed into a TAKRAF project. *
